BIOGRAPHY
Tim Mather is known for functional porcelain and stoneware pottery, wheel-thrown, or slip-cast, and assembled. Some pieces have decorative sculptural elements. These sculptural additions include branches as handles, abstract organic decorations, and found objects.
Tim Mather sometimes collaborated with George Whitten and ceramic artist Annette McCormick, who added animal sculptures to Mather’s vessels.
