Kelly Brooke Howard is known for wheel thrown and/or hand built work which utilizes a clay body of North Carolina porcelain. Howard uses sprigging, a decorative technique with  which she adds hand carved dragonflies and flowers to the leather hard pots. She is known for the vibrant pastel glazes.
