PRIMARY WORK EXPERIENCE

1979—Popcorn Pottery, Murfreesboro, Tennessee

 

Susan and Ray Allen have been creating a line of functional stoneware pottery together since 1979. Ray makes all the thrown pieces, Susan handles the slab work. The stoneware clay they use is mixed at the studio and they formulate all the glazes used. 

The Allens have made a line of one of a kind wall pieces they call Popcorn People.
