Robert Pillars

BIOGRAPHY

Robert Pillars is known for functional pottery with abstract elements, such as irregular slab attachments and exaggerated features such as elongated tea spout.

Pillars volunteered with Potters for Peace in Nicaragua making ceramic water filters. Pillars discussed his work with Potters for Peace in an interview for the Field Guide for Ceramic Arts: http://ceramicsfieldguide.org/robert-pillars/
