 BIOGRAPHY

Conway Pierson was a sculptor who combined clay with other materials including wood and metal. The clay components were made using porcelain or stoneware and were often fired in atmospheric conditions.

Pierson was a dedicated teacher who impressed on his students the unlimited possibilities for expression through exploration of clay.
