BIOGRAPHY
Bunny McBride is known for wheel-thrown functional pottery and formulated his own clay bodies, both porcelain and stoneware. Pieces are most often glazed with his uniquely formulated glazes, then high fired. He used a wide range of forms and glaze techniques.
Bunny McBride studied with Lyndon Pomeroy at Northern Montana College and then with Frances Senska and Jesse Wilber at Montana State University.
Throughout his career at Iowa State, McBride performed research and exploration of ancient kiln sites in China and Korea. He exhibited and demonstrated widely and was an influential teacher.
