BIOGRAPHY

Linda Haggerty and her husband, James, both work at their studio, Haggerty Ceramics in Santa Barbara, California. James throws, glazes and fires all the pieces while Linda, who had previously produced hand-painted tiles, spontaneously creates free-flowing designs that are either carved into the clay or sgraffitoed onto the glaze surface.

Her work exhibits her lifelong interest in art and drawing. She previously worked in the production department at Santa Barabara Ceramic Design and later started her own business Santa Barbara Tileworks. James and Linda started Haggerty Ceramics together and their work is included in many galleries and private collections across the country.
