    BIOGRAPHY
    Angela de Mott is known for hand-built vessel work in clay. Bowls are the form she most often constructed. Her thin walled pieces are most often developed inan asymmetrical fashion using the coil method. Surface treatment features a variety of glazes, lusters, and metallic surfaces. The pieces are often raku fired. Originally trained as a painter and printmaker, de Mott became involve dwith ceramics in 1990, which subsequently became the focus of her studio practice.
