BIOGRAPHY
The ceramic work of Ann Boyajian is low-fired red earthenware, hand built and one-of-a-kind vessels, plates, and sculptures. Surface treatments include black and white painted underglazes, the sgraffito technique, and a transparent glaze, or terra sigilatta. Motifs are narrative and usually include animals.
In her career as an illustrator, Ann Boyajian has illustrated and published numerous books, several about cats.
